Hi God,

I am my own disciple.

I am a poet from the 21^st Century

and I carry no verses, except for those I bring into being.

I do not worship you

or any.

I am of those you condemned

and those you saved.

It is at my discretion

whether my soul exists or ceases to exist.

and, for god's sake,

I have always been my own maker.

Those who do not know you

will call me insolent.

Those who know me

will call me the same.

But even then,

why don't you walk with me?

After all, it's a beginning of a new day.
